Committed

The Committed theme is focused on creating clarity of purpose - a shared understanding - across the organisation, and to put in place the necessary systems to ensure that the organisation is pursuing that purpose effectively.

There are four related elements within the Committed Team:

  • First or Best: Establishing an intention for your organisation to be the first or the best in some aspect - thus engaging all staff in the need for high performance.

  • Measuring Leadership: Establishing measurement systems for all leaders that are balanced across the three circles.

  • Telephone Follow-up: Ensuring that all patients are followed-up by telephone within 24-48 hours of discharge in order to create both a safety net and a means of gathering data on patient experience.

  • Staff Surveys / Barometer: Ensuring that staff opinion is sought regularly and frequently in confidential surveys.
