I think that this book should be required reading for everyone working in a healthcare setting and is accessible to everyone but should be a pre-requisite if you are a leader or manager.
The concepts are simple yet effective and the way the study day was delivered was great.
I would recommend this programme highly without a doubt.

Now that the dust has settled after the seminar day, (which I really enjoyed from so many aspects), it has been really good to have the prompts, feedback, templates and emails to encourage and continue the motivation that the day generated. The practical and relevant material will help me put the issues explored on the day into the reality of the day job. My motto for 2011 is to be more 'careful' both at work and in my homelife.

Thanks again

thank you for the study day held at the NSIC. iT WAS ONE OF THE BEST DAYS I HAVE ATTENDED AND THE GROUP WORKED WELL WITH LOTS OF IDEAS AND STRUCTURE TO ACTUALLY move forward and do what we need to do.The advantage of having the teams working together is excellent to keep the momentum going. We just need to arrange how we progress with those who could not attend and those who should attend in the next group. Thank you again

Thank you again for holding the meaning of careful workshop at the NSIC. I have found that the content has given me a fresh outlook on the challenges that both my colleagues and I face on a daily basis, as well as an innovative way of viewing change management. I thought the workshop was well structured and having the leadership challenges planned in advance meant that there was a real focus to the techniques that were discussed on the day. In my opinion the ability to change groups for each task and interact with many others meant that i was able to view matters from many different perspectives, and this was pivotal to the consistent energy demonstrated throughout the workshop. If i could change one thing about the day i would have liked more time reserved at the end for questions not specific to our respective leadership challenges.

Thank you for a truley inspiring seminar day. Yesterday was one of the best studies day I have attended and I can already think of lots of ways I can use the information provided in my daily life at work. The pace of the day was just right and the issues raised very relevant to work in the NHS (although on reflection the concepts fit many other areas of life too). Although the length of the day was about right I could easily have come back a second day to learn and discuss more. I particularly enjoyed the aspect of creating good team meetings, positives/negatives/neutrals and process analyses.
